Corona Virus/COVID 19 Update

To our valued clients and associates,

We would like to assure you that Finport is taking the situation regarding the spread of the Coronavirus very seriously.

We have always instilled the highest health and safety standards, and continue to do so in these current circumstances. Additionally, there are a number of precautionary measures we have in place to assist with the health and well being of our staff and our clients alike and to ensure the continuity of our client work.

Health And Safety Measures

Our Health Policy focus is on limiting and minimising the risk of infectious outbreaks within the firm. We not only actively encourage sick staff members to stay away from work, we also facilitate their ability to work from home. This protects other staff members, visitors and everyone they come into contact with during their work day.

We continue to adhere to the highest possible hygiene standards within our office. Our reception area and meeting rooms are carefully cleaned and sanitized daily, including touch points such as door handles, phones and equipment.

There is firm-wide support of, and adherence to, our Health and Safety standards - no exceptions.

Operational Contingencies

Our firm is committed to ensuring that all of our new applications and requests for drawdowns can still be completed regardless of how these extraordinary circumstances develop. We have taken a proactive approach in implementing and testing strategies should any staff be impacted by the virus or the threat worsens and requires an office shutdown.

This includes:

Ensuring that all staff are equipped with computer hardware and remote access to emails, all of our software, electronic client working papers etc so they can work from home;

Our meeting rooms are equipped for the use of Skype for Business or Google Hangouts for video conferencing of meetings and in many cases these services can be accessed from home by staff as well;

We can email completed documents and files to clients where needed;

Providing alcohol-based hand sanitizers in our reception area and meeting rooms for use by staff, clients and associates;

It the event of an office shutdown, having our 1800 346767 telephone will be redirection to ensure that all client calls are answered and forwarded to their appropriate Finport contact.

Visitors

For appointments at our office, if someone is unwell we request that they call and advise our receptionist, or email us, and they do not attend our office. We can then make alternative arrangements for discussions by telephone or by video conferencing. We can also make alternative arrangements for any documents to be collected or dropped off. We are constantly monitoring and heeding the advice issued by the government and health officials. This ensures we are in the best possible position to take necessary action and continue to put the safety and well being of our staff members, clients and families first. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us.
