In a closely contested regatta on Lake Garda, Italy, they narrowly edged out their Australian rivals, the Yandoo team of John Winning, Fang Warren, and Josh Porebski, after both teams finished with an equal score of 23 points. Finport Finance clinched the title through a count back, having secured seven race wins compared to Yandoo's three, along with seven second-place finishes.
Germany's Black Knight, helmed by Heinrich von Bayern, Thomas Martin, and Andy Martin, emerged as the top-performing European team, finishing in third place with 36 points. Black Knight achieved one race victory and consistently placed in the top four throughout the regatta. Defending champions Lazarus, skippered by Marcus Ashley-Jones, settled for fourth place with 41 points, having secured two race wins. Denmark's JB Design, led by Jesper Brondum, finished in fifth place with 60 points, while Burrawang-Young Henrys from Australia, helmed by Simon Nearn, claimed sixth place with one race win and a total of 73 points.
